As is the nature of an inevitability you are offered few choices. However, of those you are given... some of them set you on a different path, some of them are different perspectives of the same and some don't matter in the least.
Depending on the path, and your patience, the game can take as little as 5~6 minutes or it can take 25~30 minutes.
